If you have been reading my works for some time, you know my position on reading books.
I believe from within and without any doubt that a person who does not read books, does not know what he is doing in life, lives only by chance.
And if one lives by chance it is impossible to achieve great success.
This is not new, but it has been so since time immemorial, those who read books have had good opportunities that those who do not read do not.
And as Mark Twain once said, a person who can read but does not read books, is no different from an illiterate person. For they all lack good things.
So without any controversy, reading books is a fundamental requirement of a successful life.
But despite the great benefits we find in books, there are some things you can't get through reading alone.
There are things you learn and understand better when you are on the scene, surrounded by others who are learning like you.
The part where you can learn what you don't find in books is in a face-to-face workshop.
Here are ten things you can do to share a seminar that you will not be able to find through reading alone.
1. Build your network.
As you participate in the seminar, you build and promote your successful network.
Because it is only in the seminar that you meet people with the same attitude as you.
We often complain that our communities do not have many people with a view to success.
When you attend successful seminars, you meet the right people to accompany them.
2. Changing the environment.
As you participate in the seminar, you change your environment. You get a chance to learn in an environment that is different from what you are used to.
Sometimes you have to travel and that puts you in a new environment.
By learning in a different environment, you remember for a long time.
3. Learning without interruption.
When you are reading a book, or listening to a book being read or watching a video, distraction is easy to distract from.
It is easy to postpone and tell yourself you will continue later, something that does not always happen.
When you are in a seminar, distraction does not take you away from learning.
You will stay until the seminar is over and then you will learn all that is available.
It may be a one-time event, but you left with more than you read in most books.
4. Practical learning.
In learning, there are various steps you are given to take. If you study on your own, you are telling yourself that you will take those steps later. But you know exactly what the future holds.

The act of being together and learning gives you great strength of understanding and motivation to take action.
6. Learning from others.
As you participate in the seminar, you meet others who share what they know and experience as well.
That alone is of great value.
Because when you read and come up with something new, it's easy to tell yourself this is impossible.
But when you are in a seminar and meet others who have made progress, you clearly see that what you are learning is possible.
7. Share with others what you know.
There is a saying that you don't understand something if you can't explain it to someone else and they understand it.
If you read it yourself you may think you have understood, but it has not, something you do not know.
As you participate in the seminar, you will need to share with others what you know or experience you have.
That will show you how much you know and push you to study in depth and understand more.
