📌 Position Summary

WFP Tanzania is hiring a Partnerships and Reporting Officer to strengthen strategic partnerships with governments, donors, and stakeholders. The role involves resource mobilization, partnership management, donor reporting, and supporting policy engagement for impactful collaboration in achieving Zero Hunger and the SDGs.


🛠 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with government and donor entities
  • Draft high-quality donor reports, proposals, briefings, and strategic documents
  • Monitor and analyze partnership data and funding trends
  • Support the design and implementation of partnership action plans
  • Lead preparation of strategic agreements, MOUs, and fundraising materials
  • Ensure partner conditions are met and donor visibility is maximized
  • Engage with stakeholders and provide policy support through research and communications
  • Collaborate with country and regional teams for alignment and efficiency
  • Use digital tools for analysis, reporting, and partnership management


🎓 Qualifications & Skills

Education:
Advanced University degree in Political Science, International Development, Communications, Marketing, Law, or related field. A first-level degree with additional work experience may be accepted.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in partnerships, fundraising, reporting, or donor relations
  • Familiarity with UN systems and global development strategies is an asset

Skills:

  • Strong communication and writing skills (English & Swahili fluency required)
  • Knowledge of partnership development and donor reporting
  • Digital tools proficiency (e.g. Salesforce, WINGS, etc.)
  • Interpersonal, analytical, and project management abilities
