About Us

My Zanzibar is a leading tour operator in Zanzibar, specializing in serving French-speaking clients. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to support our growing operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tools to track incomes, costs, and expenses for various company activities.
  • Create reporting tools for management purposes.
  • File income declarations with relevant Zanzibar authorities.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Provide financial data to the partner consulting firm.
  • Manage HR documentation for employees.
  • Handle procedures for obtaining or renewing official operational documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in accounting or financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with Zanzibar tax regulations is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
