About Us
My Zanzibar is a leading tour operator in Zanzibar, specializing in serving French-speaking clients. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to support our growing operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tools to track incomes, costs, and expenses for various company activities.
- Create reporting tools for management purposes.
- File income declarations with relevant Zanzibar authorities.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Provide financial data to the partner consulting firm.
- Manage HR documentation for employees.
- Handle procedures for obtaining or renewing official operational documents.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in accounting or financial management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting.
- Familiarity with Zanzibar tax regulations is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
