Total Exploration and Development Uganda Limited (TEPU), CNOOC Uganda Limited (CUL), and the Government of Uganda have discovered crude oil in the Lake Albert area. The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project will connect this production to Tanga Port, Tanzania for export.

The pipeline system covers 1,443 km with above-ground installations (AGIs), pipelines, and marine storage terminals. LOT3 of this project covers Singida to Tanga and includes six spreads and three pump stations (PS06, PRS01, and PRS02).

Position: HSE Trainer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver HSSE training programs for project personnel, subcontractors, and visitors.
• Prepare training matrices, schedules, presentations, and conduct assessments.
• Maintain training records, evaluate effectiveness, and improve training quality.
• Coach and mentor staff, particularly local employees.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• NEBOSH certificate & Train the Trainer certification required.
• At least 5 years of experience in HSE roles (preferably in oil/gas or construction).
• Strong communication, record-keeping, and training development skills.
• Physically fit and free from infectious diseases.
• Must have personal laptop and accessories from day one.
