Job Overview
The Garage Manager will be responsible for managing daily garage operations, leading a team of mechanics, ensuring timely vehicle repairs, and maintaining high service standards. This role also includes overseeing spare parts inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate mechanics in vehicle repair, adjustment, and servicing.
- Analyze defective equipment to determine causes of faults.
- Inspect and test repaired vehicles to verify work quality.
- Evaluate mechanic performance and provide feedback.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and requisition replacements.
- Prepare repair reports and process vehicle requests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an automotive supervisory role.
