Job Overview
The Management Reporting Officer will be part of FINCA Tanzania's Finance Department, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. The role involves active participation in management decision-making, designing planning and performance management systems, and delivering expert financial reporting and control to help implement FINCA Tanzania’s strategy.

Essential Duties
- Prepare and monitor company budgets in line with FINCA’s accounting policies.
- Assist in strategic plan preparation and advise management accordingly.
- Manage and implement costing systems for the finance function.
- Prepare financial projections and monitor product performance.
- Ensure timely preparation of regulatory reports and year-end financial statements.
- Provide information to auditors, TRA, internal auditors, and regulators.
- Produce management and board reports on time.
- File tax returns in compliance with national laws.
- Ensure General Ledger reconciliations meet internal control standards.
- Streamline month-end closure processes.
- Publish regulatory reports in line with Central Bank of Tanzania regulations.
Education and Experience
- University degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or Banking.
- CPA/ACCA qualifications are an added advantage.
- Strong report writing and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and computerized accounting systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to interpret financial statements and recommend solutions quickly.
