Job Purpose:
Responsible for overseeing the sales strategy with a focus on promoting group accounts, group lending products, and fostering partnerships within the community. Conduct market research to identify rural banking opportunities and gather insights for product development.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve targets for group accounts, group deposits and lending products.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the branch sales team and RO/RMs at HQ ensuring they meet individual and collective sales objectives.
- Promote group proposition and other financial services to rural and urban market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to identify growth opportunities and gather insights.
- Train and support the sales team on products and customer relationship management.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance and prepare reports for senior management.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong leadership and relationship management
- Critical thinking and sound judgment
- Excellent communication and time management
- Strong in BI tools and Microsoft Excel
- Proven product development experience

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business-related field
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in banking operations, preferably in sales or group banking
